If refreshments are considered necessary during an academic event, the concerned department may use its own funds to provide tea and biscuits for external examiners.

The university has directed all deans and heads of departments to ensure strict implementation of the new policy. It warned that any violation of the orders will result in disciplinary action under the university’s rules.

The measure is intended to safeguard students from unnecessary expenses and reinforce transparency and professionalism in academic evaluations.
