The 29-year-old shared an emotional selfie on Instagram, revealing that the latest episode had left her battling extreme fatigue and exhaustion. Hadid said she became “out of breath walking to the kitchen” and continued to feel drained despite sleeping for 11 hours and taking additional naps.

She explained that she had followed treatment plans recommended by several doctors but had not experienced any noticeable improvement. Describing the impact of the condition, the model said she felt as though her brain was not functioning properly, adding that being able to shower without fainting felt like a significant accomplishment.

The model also shared that she became emotional because her illness often limits what she wants to accomplish, despite her determination. She expressed heartfelt gratitude for the flood of supportive messages she received from fans around the world.

“I truly appreciate all your support. I’m so grateful. I love you guys so much,” she wrote.

Hadid has spoken publicly about her experience with chronic Lyme disease on several occasions since being diagnosed in the early 2010s. Her mother, Yolanda Hadid, and her brother have also shared their experiences with the illness.

Lyme disease can cause persistent symptoms in some people, including fatigue, muscle pain, joint discomfort, and cognitive difficulties, which may continue even after initial treatment.
