World Environment Day 2026 Pakistan Message: United Front
World Environment Day 2026 Pakistan Message From President and PM
Islamabad – (Web Desk) – President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have shared a strong World Environment Day 2026 Pakistan message, calling on citizens, institutions, and the global community to come together and fight climate change before it is too late.
President Zardari said the threats are no longer something people can ignore. Rising temperatures, melting glaciers, extreme weather, water shortages, and loss of biodiversity are already hurting lives and damaging economies around the world. He said the choices made today will decide the quality of life for the generations that come after us.
He also pointed out that environmental problems hit ordinary people the hardest. When forests disappear and rivers dry up, access to clean water shrinks, crops fail, jobs are lost, and public services come under greater pressure.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan is standing with the international community in its commitment to protect the planet. He said this year’s theme, Climate Action, is a clear reminder that no single country can fix this problem alone. Effective global cooperation is not optional, it is necessary.
The prime minister warned that the environmental threats facing the planet are growing fast and the world needs strong, coordinated strategies to respond.
Both leaders reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to sustainability and climate resilience, urging everyone to work toward a safer and greener future for coming generations.
