Hot Weather Continues As Rain And Hail Forecast Across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Hot and dry weather is expected across several parts of Pakistan, while rain, thunderstorms, gusty winds, and hailstorms are likely in various regions, according to the latest weather advisory issued on Wednesday.

In Islamabad and nearby areas, daytime conditions are expected to remain hot and dry. However, the weather may change by evening and night with chances of rain accompanied by strong winds, thunderstorms, and isolated hailstorms.

Across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, partly cloudy weather is forecast for most districts. Rain and thunderstorms with gusty winds are expected in areas including Dir, Swat, Malam Jabba, Kohistan, Bajaur, Kalam, Chitral, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Kohat, Malakand, Bannu, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan, Kurram, and Waziristan. Hailstorms may also occur in isolated locations.

Most districts of Punjab are likely to experience hot and dry conditions, with central and southern regions expected to remain extremely hot. Meanwhile, rain with thunderstorms and strong winds is forecast in Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Attock, Murree, Galyat, Sargodha, Khushab, Jhang, Mianwali, Layyah, Bhakkar, and nearby areas.

In Sindh, weather conditions will largely remain hot and dry, while upper districts are expected to face intense heat. Similarly, most parts of Balochistan will stay dry and hot, although northern districts may witness partly cloudy skies and isolated rain with thunderstorms and hail in areas such as Zhob, Sibi, Barkhan, Loralai, and Musakhel.

Partly cloudy weather with rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds is also expected in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, where isolated hailstorms may occur as well.

The highest temperatures recorded on the day were in Dadu at 48°C, while Noorpur Thal and Shaheed Benazirabad recorded 46°C.
