ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Chief of Defence Forces Asim Munir has said that hostile forces attempting to undermine Pakistan’s progress through proxies and negative propaganda will ultimately fail, emphasizing national unity and military preparedness.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir visited Quetta Garrison, where he was received by the Corps Commander Quetta. During the visit, he addressed officers and faculty members at the Command and Staff College in Quetta.
He praised the institution for its high standards of training, professionalism, and operational efficiency, and stressed the importance of coordination among Pakistan’s armed services. He also highlighted the need to stay prepared for modern warfare challenges, including emerging technologies and multi-domain operations.
Asim Munir stated that graduates of the staff college have consistently demonstrated excellence in service and urged officers to continue improving training standards to ensure readiness for evolving security demands.
CDF Asim Munir Warns Against Future Aggression Towards Pakistan
During his visit, he also met deployed formations in Balochistan and acknowledged their efforts in maintaining peace, stability, and the writ of the state in the region. He appreciated their morale and operational readiness in challenging conditions.
The Field Marshal reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain committed to eliminating terrorism in all its forms with the support of the people. He said attempts to destabilize the country through external backing, propaganda, or misinformation would not succeed.
He further emphasized that sustainable national development depends on both strong security measures and effective governance focused on public welfare. He also acknowledged the efforts of the Balochistan government in promoting socio-economic development and strengthening ties between the state and local communities.
The visit underscored the military’s focus on modernization, internal security, and long-term stability in the region.
