ICC Test Rankings Show Decline For Several Pakistan Cricket Stars
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The International Cricket Council has announced the latest Test player rankings, with several Pakistani cricketers experiencing declines in both batting and bowling categories following recent performances.
Pakistan batter Saud Shakeel dropped six places in the Test batting rankings and is now positioned 15th after previously holding a spot inside the top 10. Meanwhile, Mohammad Rizwan stands at 21st, while Babar Azam slipped one position to 23rd. Test captain Shan Masood also fell six places and is now ranked 46th.

In the Test batting standings, Joe Root continues to lead the rankings, followed by Harry Brook, Travis Head, Steve Smith and Kane Williamson in the top five positions.
Among bowlers, Pakistan spinner Noman Ali — the country’s only bowler in the top 10 — dropped three spots to fifth place. Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin retained the No.1 ranking, while Mitchell Starc, Matt Henry and Pat Cummins climbed to second, third and fourth positions respectively.
Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi maintained his 24th ranking, while Mohammad Abbas remained unchanged at 28th in the latest ICC Test bowling standings.
