Islamabad: (Web Desk) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have strongly condemned recent missile and drone strikes targeting civilian and energy infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates, expressing full solidarity with Abu Dhabi amid rising regional tensions.
In a statement shared on social media, Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan stands firmly with the people and government of the UAE during this difficult period. He stressed that maintaining the ceasefire is crucial to preserving diplomatic space and ensuring long-term peace and stability in the region.
Separately, Mohammed bin Salman, during a phone call with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, also condemned what he termed “unjustified attacks” on the UAE. He reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s full support for Abu Dhabi in safeguarding its national security and stability.

Reports indicate that the latest strikes involved missiles and drones, most of which were intercepted by UAE air defence systems. However, some incidents reportedly caused damage in industrial areas and resulted in minor injuries to foreign nationals, further heightening regional concern.
Both leaders emphasized the importance of restraint and adherence to the ceasefire, urging all parties to prioritize diplomacy over escalation. They reiterated that sustained dialogue and responsible conduct are essential to preventing further deterioration of the regional security situation.
