Fatima Sana to lead as Pakistan prepare for home series

KARACHI –(News Desk)- The Women’s National Selection Committee has announced a 15-player squad for Pakistan’s upcoming ODI series against Zimbabwe, set to be played at National Bank Stadium from May 4 to 9. The three-match ODI series will be followed by a T20I series at the same venue later in the month.

Fatima Sana will continue to captain the side in the ODI series, which is part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025–29. Pakistan currently sit fifth in the standings after their recent tour of South Africa.

Young talent Momina Riasat has earned her maiden call-up to the national squad. Meanwhile, Zimbabwe’s women’s team will tour Pakistan for the first time, arriving in Karachi on April 29, with both teams scheduled to train ahead of the series.

The ODI matches will be held on May 4, 6, and 9, followed by T20Is on May 12, 14, and 15, promising an exciting contest between the two sides.
