TEHRAN: (Web Desk) – Esmaeil Baqaei has stated that Iran values Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions in the Middle East, while refraining from commenting on the reported extension of a ceasefire announced by the United States.
Speaking to media, Baqaei acknowledged Islamabad’s role in promoting peace, saying Iran appreciates attempts to help end the ongoing conflict. However, he did not confirm or deny the extension of the truce mentioned by Donald Trump.

According to Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB, the spokesperson emphasized that Tehran remains focused on protecting its national interests and security. He added that Iran is taking all necessary measures to respond to evolving regional developments.
