Pakistan Reaffirms Support to Saudi Amid Regional Tensions

Islamabad: (Web Desk)- Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a phone conversation with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, focusing on the escalating regional tensions.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast support for Saudi Arabia following the attack on the Jubail oil facility, strongly condemning the assault. He assured the Crown Prince that Pakistan’s government and people will remain united with their Saudi counterparts, just as Saudi Arabia has historically supported Pakistan during challenging times.

He praised the Saudi leadership for its prudence and composure amid the current crisis and highlighted Pakistan’s active role in peace-building initiatives in collaboration with other nations. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also briefed the Crown Prince on Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions in the Middle East and conveyed warm greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Crown Prince acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan’s contributions toward regional peace and stability.
