Gold and Silver Prices Jump in Pakistan as International Market Rates Also Climb Higher

Pakistan – (Web Desk) – Gold prices saw a notable jump on Friday, bringing good news for traders but adding pressure on buyers. The price of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs3,400 per tola, pushing it to Rs490,362 compared to Rs486,962 the day before.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also moved higher by Rs2,915, settling at Rs420,406 against the previous figure of Rs417,491. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold followed the same upward trend, rising by Rs2,673 to reach Rs385,386 from Rs382,713.

Overall, gold across all major categories posted a solid gain on Friday, reflecting growing demand and market momentum.

The price of gold in the international market increased by $34 to $4,676 from $4,642, the association reported.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per-tola increased by Rs160 to Rs7,794 from Rs7,634, while that of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs138 to Rs6,682 from Rs6,544.

The price of silver in the international market also increased by $1.60 to $73.10 from $71.50, the association reported.
