ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held separate telephonic discussions with his Egyptian and Iranian counterparts on Monday night to review the current situation in the Middle East.
According to a statement from the Foreign Office Pakistan on X, Ishaq Dar spoke with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, emphasizing the urgent need for de-escalation and sustained dialogue to ensure regional peace and security. Both leaders agreed to maintain close communication as the situation develops.

Earlier, Ishaq Dar also spoke with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, stressing the importance of diplomacy and dialogue to promote stability not only in the region but beyond. Both sides committed to remaining in close contact regarding evolving developments.
These discussions highlight Pakistan’s proactive engagement in promoting regional stability and encouraging dialogue among key Middle Eastern stakeholders.
