LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has issued strict orders to ensure comprehensive security measures at bus stands, commercial centres, and markets ahead of Eid al-Fitr. She instructed the deployment of additional security personnel on Chand Raat, with special women police squads patrolling markets to prevent harassment incidents.
The Chief Minister emphasized the protection of women and children, directing authorities to utilize drone cameras and night vision binoculars for surveillance. She also stressed road vigilance on Chand Raat to prevent risky stunts like one-wheeling and ordered increased security around ATMs and banks.

Furthermore, she instructed continuous monitoring of police and transport staff at bus and van stands, along with displaying fixed fares on vehicles to ensure safe and fair travel for the public.
