British Envoy Jane Marriott Meets Maulana Fazlur Rehman Islamabad
British High Commissioner Jane Marriott meets Maulana Fazlur Rehman to discuss regional security and Pakistan-UK relations.
On Thursday, British High Commissioner in Pakistan Jane Marriott visited Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s home in Islamabad. They talked about politics and security in Pakistan and the region.
Both leaders shared their views on topics like Pakistan and Afghanistan’s safety. They also discussed issues involving Iran, Israel, the United States, and Gulf countries.
The meeting included talks about improving relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom. Both sides agreed on the importance of staying connected and working together.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who heads Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), called on Britain to play a constructive role in addressing the evolving security challenges in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, Jane Marriott said the United Kingdom remained engaged with regional countries and was playing its diplomatic role regarding the situation.
