Israel Launches Lebanon Strikes After Hezbollah Iran Joint Rocket Attack

Beirut: Israel carried out several overnight strikes in Lebanon late last night, leaving at least six people dead, according to foreign media reports. The attacks triggered fires in multiple areas, with thick smoke seen rising from damaged locations after the bombardment.

Israeli officials, however, claim the escalation followed a coordinated assault launched against Israel by Hezbollah with support from Iran. According to Israel, it was the first jointly coordinated attack involving the two since the current conflict began.

Iran has reportedly acknowledged the joint strike, while Israeli media state that around 150 rockets were fired toward Israeli territory during the attack.

Hezbollah said its operation specifically targeted a military intelligence facility located on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, describing it as a strategic Israeli site.
