Security Forces Airstrikes Destroy Taliban Posts Near Afghan Border

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Pakistan Army has continued its military campaign under Operation Ghazbad-ul-Haqq in response to what officials describe as unprovoked actions from across the Afghan border. Security sources say the operation is targeting militant positions in the border region.

According to reports, several posts belonging to the Afghan Taliban were destroyed during airstrikes carried out in North Waziristan along the Pak-Afghan border. The strikes reportedly inflicted heavy losses on the militants, forcing many to retreat from their positions.

Security officials said multiple fighters were killed during the operation, while others fled the area following the intense response from Pakistani forces.

Sources added that both ground and aerial operations are ongoing against Afghan Taliban elements as well as militants described as Fitna al-Khawarij. Authorities say the operation will continue until its strategic objectives are fully achieved.
