Reports Claim Deaths of Iran’s Defense, IRGC Chiefs
Both senior Iranian figures were killed during Israeli strikes.
Tehran (Web Desk): Following recent Israeli airstrikes on Iran, claims have surfaced regarding the martyrdom of Iran’s Defense Minister Amir Nasirzadeh and the chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Mohammad Pakpour.
According to a foreign news agency, two sources familiar with Israeli military operations, along with a regional source, have claimed that both senior Iranian figures were killed during Israeli strikes. However, no official confirmation has been issued by Iranian authorities so far.
The reports come amid widespread Israeli and US attacks on multiple targets inside Iran, with separate claims suggesting that other senior Revolutionary Guards commanders and political officials may also have been killed.

In response, Iran launched a retaliatory campaign named Operation Promised Sadeq 4. The Revolutionary Guards stated that the operation targeted US military installations across the region, including the US Navy Fifth Fleet based in Bahrain.
Iranian state media reported that US bases in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain were struck, along with key military sites in the occupied Palestinian territories, Israel.
The Revolutionary Guards said the operation is directed against US forces and the Israeli government, adding that missile and drone attacks on regional targets will continue as part of Iran’s ongoing response.
