Punjab Cabinet Vehicle Purchase Plan Worth Rs110 Crore Proposed

Lahore: ( Web Desk) – The Transport Wing has submitted recommendations to the government for the purchase of vehicles for the Punjab Cabinet.

According to the document, a proposal has been made to buy 28 new vehicles worth Rs30 crore for cabinet members. The recommendations include the purchase of two bulletproof vehicles worth Rs4 crore for two ministers. Approval for buying bulletproof vehicles has already been granted by the Punjab government.

For VIPs, recommendations to purchase 25 vehicles worth Rs27 crore have already been approved.

The documents further state that vehicles worth Rs53 crore will be procured for the Chief Minister Inspection Team, including motorcycles.
Officials said that once the recommendations are approved, the procurement process will begin.
