Imran Khan Says He Is Losing His Vision: Aleema Khan

Rawalpindi: (Web Desk) – Aleema Khan, the sister of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, said on Wednesday that her brother has conveyed a message stating that his vision has deteriorated and that his personal doctors must be given access to him.

Speaking to the media near the Dahgal checkpoint, close to Adiala Jail, Aleema Khan said she was protesting alongside her sisters after being denied a meeting with Imran Khan. She alleged that the PTI founder is being kept in solitary confinement.

Aleema Khan stated that despite repeated attempts, the family was not allowed to meet him again on Wednesday. She said Imran Khan had sent a message saying that he cannot see properly and has demanded access for his personal physicians. “Until his own doctors brief us, we will not believe anyone,” she added.

She further demanded that Imran Khan undergo a comprehensive medical examination in the presence of his family and personal doctors. “Until Imran Khan is taken to a hospital, we will not trust any claims about his health,” she said.

Imran Khan’s sister Dr Uzma Khan also spoke to the media, questioning the lack of transparency. “If there is any illness, bring it before the public—why is it being hidden?” she asked.

Imran Khan is the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and is currently incarcerated in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail.
