Users can now set ChatGPT personality to match their style

NEW YORK (Web Desk): Millions of people around the world use ChatGPT daily, but did you know you can also choose from 7 different “personalities”?
OpenAI introduced the personalization feature some time ago, allowing users to set a personality that matches their style for their ChatGPT account.
A personality is essentially a unique style and tone ChatGPT uses to respond to you. This doesn’t change how ChatGPT works, but changes the way it talks to you.
Currently, there are 7 personalities available: professional, friendly, candid, efficient, quirky, nerdy, and cynical.

The feature was introduced in November 2025 and is available even to free users. To use it, go to ChatGPT, click Settings, then Personalization, and select your preferred personality.
After that, you can adjust responses by giving instructions to each personality on how you want answers to differ from the default style. For example, you can enable 2 personalities to get two different answers to the same question.
