Bilateral Cooperation, Regional Stability Discussed by Pakistan and UAE

RAWALPINDI: (Web Desk) – Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CDF), met His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and UAE National Security Advisor, in Abu Dhabi today.

During the meeting, both leaders discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation across economic, investment, and security sectors. They also exchanged views on regional developments and highlighted the importance of ongoing coordination to promote peace and stability in the region.

Field Marshal Asim Munir expressed gratitude to the UAE government for its longstanding support to Pakistan’s economy and security, noting that such assistance reflects the deep-rooted historical relations between the two brotherly nations. He praised the UAE leadership’s constructive role in advancing Pakistan’s economic and social development.

He further affirmed that the security and stability of the UAE are closely tied to Pakistan’s own security and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to continuing joint efforts to enhance the strategic partnership, ensuring mutual benefits, regional peace, and prosperity.
