ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Wednesday vowed a strong response to terrorism in Islamabad, declaring in the National Assembly that “blood will be avenged with blood.”
Speaking in the House, the minister condemned a recent remark by Opposition Leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai about the Pakistan Army, calling it “extremely irresponsible” and expressing personal hurt over the statement.

“This is the army of the country, not of any province,” Khawaja Asif said, emphasizing that Pakistan’s armed forces represent the entire nation.
He reiterated that acts of terrorism would not be tolerated in the federal capital and pledged that the government would take strict action against any such threats.
