Devon Conway Joins Islamabad United Ahead of PSL 11
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Islamabad United have strengthened their squad for the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League by signing New Zealand’s star batter Devon Conway. The franchise announced the signing through its official X account, welcoming the “Kiwi star” and expressing confidence in his impact during the tournament.
Conway is widely admired for his aggressive yet composed batting style and is the fourth fastest player to reach 1,000 runs in T20 international cricket, underlining his value in the shortest format. According to reports, Islamabad United have secured his services on a contract worth Rs 63 million.

Alongside Conway’s inclusion, the defending champions have also retained three key players for PSL 11. Team captain Shadab Khan will continue in the Platinum category with a retention fee of Rs 70 million. Fast bowler Salman Irshad has been retained in the Gold category for Rs 14 million, while Andries Gous remains part of the squad in the Silver category with a retention fee of Rs 12 million.
With these signings and retentions, Islamabad United look set to mount a strong title challenge in the upcoming PSL season.
