Three-Time World Champion Muhammad Asif Clinches National Snooker Championship
KARACHI, (Web Desk/ Special Correspondent) – Three-time world champion Muhammad Asif claimed his fifth National Snooker Championship title on Wednesday, defeating Rana Irfan 6-3 in the final of the 50th National Snooker Championship at the National Bank Sports Complex in Karachi.
Despite Irfan scoring two century breaks, Asif’s remarkable consistency and precision, including eight century breaks throughout the final, ensured his victory in an intense eleven-frame contest.
Abdul Jawed Crowned Islamabad Snooker Cup Champion
The champion was presented with the trophy and a cash prize by Rahmat Ali Hasni, President of National Bank. The total prize fund for the event stood at Rs6 lakh, with Asif taking home Rs3.5 lakh. The final was witnessed by Abdul Qadir Memon, President of the Pakistan Billiard and Snooker Association, and a large crowd of enthusiastic fans.
