CDA Hosts Organic Community Market in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: (Wen Desk) – Under the auspices of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), a Community Organic Market was successfully organized at F-7 Gol Market, Islamabad, attracting a large number of citizens, particularly families.

The initiative aimed to provide residents with access to healthy, natural, and high-quality food products while promoting a culture of healthy living and community engagement. A range of organic food stalls offering fresh and wholesome items were set up, alongside specially arranged recreational and educational activities for children, creating a vibrant and family-friendly atmosphere.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Anum Fatima, Chief Officer, Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad, said that strengthening social bonds and bringing communities closer together is the true and most important objective behind such public initiatives. She emphasized that community-based events foster interaction, build mutual trust, and promote a sense of collective responsibility—key elements of a healthy and progressive society. She added that encouraging families to visit parks and public spaces plays a vital role in developing an active, connected, and socially responsible community.
