Govt keeps fuel prices unchanged for next fortnight

Islamabad – The federal government has announced that the prices of petroleum products will remain unchanged for the next 15 days, providing relief to consumers amid ongoing economic challenges.

According to an official notification issued by the Petroleum Division, there will be no increase or decrease in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel during the upcoming review period. The price of petrol has been maintained at Rs 253.17 per litre, while high-speed diesel will continue to sell at Rs 257.80 per litre.

Officials said the decision was taken after reviewing trends in global crude oil prices and considering prevailing domestic economic conditions. The Petroleum Division stated that maintaining current prices aims to ease the burden on the public and help contain inflationary pressures.
