Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan as International Bullion Market Gains

Gold prices rose sharply in Pakistan on Friday, tracking strong gains in the international bullion market. In the local market, the price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs3,400 to reach Rs469,562, while the price of 10 grams rose by Rs2,915 to Rs402,573.

Silver prices also recorded an upward movement, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs70 to Rs8,195, and the price of 10 grams climbing by Rs60 to Rs7,025.

In the international bullion market, gold prices jumped by $34 per ounce, pushing the global rate to $4,472 per ounce.

It is worth noting that gold prices had declined in both domestic and international markets a day earlier before rebounding strongly on Friday.
