In a statement, the ambassador emphasized that these false claims are a desperate attempt to cover up failures, particularly those that occurred during the recent 12-day conflict in which Iranian soldiers and commanders defended their homeland. “Iranian soldiers and commanders stood courageously on the sacred soil of their beloved homeland, resisted aggression with honor, and offered their lives in sacrifice for Iran,” the statement said.
