Sindh Promotes 69 Associate Professors to BS-20
The promotions aim to strengthen the higher education sector in Sindh
KARACHI: The Sindh government has approved the promotion of 69 associate professors from BS-19 to BS-20 with immediate effect, according to a notification issued on Saturday.
The decision was taken after clearance from Provincial Selection Board-I. Of the promoted faculty members, 46 are male and 23 are female.
The list includes several senior educators from different colleges across the province, among them Wajid Ali Baloch, Abdul Sattar Aarian, Abdul Qadir Jhakrani, Azam Ali Heesani, Ejaz Ali Subahpoto, Abdul Ghani Soomro, Mohammad Akram Waghio, and Abdul Razaq Memon. Other promoted officers include Ghulam Rasool Soomro, Mohammad Ishaq Kario, Abdul Malik Billu, Imran Ahmad Khan, and Javed Hussain.

Female professors who received promotion include Rukhsana Aqil, Shabana Memon, Tehseen Fatima, Nusrat Jarwar, Saima Faheem, Sadia Ahmad, Aleema Begum Memon, Najma Iqbal, and Riffat Parveen.
The promotions aim to strengthen the higher education sector in Sindh by recognizing the services of experienced teaching staff.
