Pakistan U-19 vs Zimbabwe Match Abandoned After Rain

ISLAMABAD: The match between Pakistan Under-19 and Zimbabwe was abandoned due to persistent rain on Monday after only Pakistan’s innings was completed.

Continuous rainfall prevented Zimbabwe from starting their innings, forcing match officials to call off the fixture.

Earlier at the Harare Sports Club, Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to field in the tri-nation Under-19 One-Day series clash. Pakistan Under-19 went on to post an imposing total of 354 for seven in their allotted 50 overs.

Sameer Minhas starred with a brilliant 142 off 106 balls, smashing 17 fours and four sixes. Usman Khan also delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 121 runs from 112 deliveries, including 12 fours and two sixes.

The pair shared a crucial 199-run partnership for the second wicket, providing a strong platform for Pakistan’s massive total. Huzifah Ahsan contributed with a valuable 54 runs.
