Zardari to Modi: You Lack the Courage of Our Field Marshal

PPP Holds Grand Rally in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on Benazir Bhutto’s 18th Death Anniversary

GARHI KHUDA BAKHSH: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) organized a large public gathering in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on the 18th death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, which was addressed by President Asif Ali Zardari.

While addressing the gathering, President Zardari welcomed the participants and said that the PPP has always made sacrifices for Pakistan’s security and sovereignty. He stated that the armed forces of Pakistan gave a strong response to Indian aggression and achieved a historic success in the “Battle for Truth.”

President Zardari said that the slogan “Pakistan Khappay” was the voice of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s soul, which united the nation and saved the country. He added that Pakistan appointed an army chief who clearly conveyed to India that war is not a game.

Addressing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Zardari said that if Pakistan had wanted, more Indian aircraft could have been shot down, including advanced jets like Vikram, but Pakistan exercised restraint.

He said Modi has now realized that Pakistan knows how to defend itself and that the country will exist forever. The president emphasized that Pakistan does not desire war and wants peaceful relations, but if the motherland is threatened, the PPP and the entire nation will fight with full resolve.

Criticizing past foreign policy decisions, President Zardari said that an incompetent individual damaged Pakistan’s global relations over four years, but circumstances have now changed and the world recognizes Pakistan’s military leadership. He claimed that even former US President Donald Trump mentions Pakistan’s Field Marshal.

Concluding his address, President Zardari said that the PPP alone is enough for the country’s enemies and that the heirs of Bhutto are still present in the political.
