ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has rejected claims that he held negotiations or meetings with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Responding to a statement by the prime minister’s coordinator Ikhtiar Wali regarding alleged talks, Barrister Gohar said that he had no contact with the prime minister over the past 10 days or even throughout the year. He added that if any such contact had taken place, or if he had initiated it, he would have informed the public himself.

Barrister Gohar emphasized that dialogue is a serious matter and urged people to avoid making irresponsible statements about negotiations, warning that such claims could further worsen the political situation.

It is worth noting that a day earlier, Ikhtiar Wali Khan had claimed during a private news channel’ morning show that Barrister Gohar had approached the prime minister three times in the last 10 days seeking negotiations.
