Pakistan’s Textile Exports Fall for Fourth Straight Month in November
The continued decline highlights ongoing challenges for Pakistan’s largest export-earning sector.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s textile exports recorded another decline in November 2025, marking the fourth consecutive month of year-on-year contraction. According to official data, textile shipments fell by 2.05 percent on an annual basis.
On a monthly basis, exports saw an even steeper drop of 11.73 percent compared to October 2025. Despite the recent declines, overall textile exports for the first five months of the current fiscal year grew by 3.15 percent.

From July to November 2025, the sector earned $7.85 billion in export revenue, up from $7.61 billion during the same period last year. However, November’s export figure stood at $1.43 billion, significantly lower than October’s $1.62 billion. In comparison, textile exports in November 2024 amounted to $1.46 billion.
