Mitchell Starc Becomes Highest Wicket-Taking Left-Arm Fast Bowler in Test Cricket

Pakistani cricketer Saif Ayub has risen to the number one spot as an all-rounder in T20 cricket.

SYDENY: Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has made history in Test cricket by becoming the highest wicket-taking left-arm fast bowler.

Starc surpassed the record previously held by legendary Pakistani pacer Wasim Akram. Akram had taken 414 wickets in his Test career, while Starc now has 415 wickets.

He achieved this milestone in his 102nd Test during the first innings of the second Ashes match by dismissing England’s Harry Brook.
