Matric exams likely to be held after THIS month!

ISLAMABAD: Good news for 25,00,000 matric students across Punjab as the Higher Education Commission (HEC) is considering a proposal of Provincial Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat to take Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore matriculation examinations after the holy month of Ramazan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to details, Eidul Fitr will be celebrated on March 19 or 20, 2026, in Pakistan, and the holy month of Ramazanul Mubarak is most likely to be commenced from February 18, 2026.

Over 300,000 candidates will appear in matriculation examination from Lahore. Teachers said that due to the holy month of Ramazanul Mubarak, students cannot prepare to appear in the examinations.
