Security forces kill 22 terrorists in Dera Ismail Khan
Security forces killed 22 Indian-supported militants during an operation in Dera Ismail Khan based on intelligence reports.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the forces targeted militant hideouts effectively. During intense exchanges of fire, 22 Indian-supported terrorists were killed.
Clearance and sanitisation operations continued in the area, with security forces maintaining vigilance against any remaining militants. Law enforcement agencies will sustain counter-terrorism efforts to ensure the complete elimination of externally supported terrorism.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the security forces for the operation in Dera Ismail Khan. He said that under a firm resolve for stability, the forces have achieved significant successes against terrorism. The prime minister has made it clear that the nation stands united with its armed forces in the fight against terrorism and remains determined to eradicate all forms of terrorism from the country.
