CJCSC General Sahir Shamshad Mirza Pays Farewell Visit to Air Headquarters

The CJCSC thanked the Air Chief for the PAF’s continued support and conveyed his best wishes for the service and its leadership.

Islamabad: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza paid a farewell visit to Air Headquarters Islamabad as part of his final official engagements. He was warmly received by Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force (PAF). A smartly turned-out PAF contingent presented the visiting dignitary with a Guard of Honour.

During their meeting, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu praised General Sahir Shamshad Mirza for his exemplary leadership and outstanding services to the country’s armed forces. He highlighted the CJCSC’s pivotal role in strengthening tri-services synergy and enhancing joint preparedness to safeguard national security. The Air Chief also reaffirmed the PAF’s unwavering commitment to working alongside sister services to eliminate terrorism.

General Sahir Shamshad Mirza expressed satisfaction over the Pakistan Air Force’s high level of combat readiness and its progress in modernization and up-gradation programs. He applauded the professionalism and dedication of PAF personnel in defending Pakistan’s airspace and acknowledged the service’s vital contributions in the fight against terrorism.
