Punjab to Build Schools in Remote Areas
Applications have been invited from private educational institutions with modern infrastructure to participate in the initiative.
LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced the establishment of Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence across remote regions of the province to provide quality education to underprivileged students.
According to official sources, 165 tehsils across Punjab have been selected for the project. Applications have been invited from private educational institutions with modern infrastructure to participate in the initiative.
The last date to submit applications is November 14. Eligible schools meeting the required standards can apply to host a Nawaz Sharif School of Eminence.

Students enrolled in these schools will receive free education, while the Punjab government will cover Rs4,000 per student per month as tuition support.
The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) will oversee the monitoring and performance evaluation of the schools to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Officials said the initiative aims to promote equal access to education and uplift learning standards in less-developed areas of Punjab.
