Teacher’s Day Celebrated with Honor at New Beacon School, Basin

Basin – New Beacon Higher Secondary School and Degree College hosted a heartfelt Teacher’s Day ceremony, celebrating the invaluable contributions of educators with dignity and enthusiasm.
The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, setting a respectful tone for the occasion. Students delivered inspiring performances including national songs, tableaus, speeches, and skits that highlighted the pivotal role of teachers in society. Their efforts were met with great applause and appreciation from the audience.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Principal Mr. Muhammad Naeem, who served as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he praised teachers as the nation’s builders, emphasizing their critical role in shaping future generations. He remarked, “Teachers are the builders of the nation who guide the younger generation toward progress through education and training. Societies that value their teachers prosper, while those that fail to do so face decline.” He further noted, “After parents, a teacher is the greatest well-wisher of a child, shaping their character and future through dedication and sincerity.”
Several faculty members also delivered insightful speeches acknowledging the importance of teachers in the development of individuals and society at large.
The event was expertly organized by Mr. Adnan Tariq, Lecturer in the English Department, and Madam Kishwar, who efficiently managed the program proceedings.
In recognition of their dedication and service, certificates of appreciation were presented to all faculty members.
The ceremony concluded with a collective prayer and a vote of thanks to all participants and attendees, marking a successful celebration of Teacher’s Day at New Beacon Higher Secondary School and Degree College.
