ITCN Asia Karachi 2025: A Major Boost for Pakistan’s IT Sector and Global Partnerships

The exhibition will be officially inaugurated by the Federal Minister for IT & Telecom, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja.

Karachi – The 26th edition of ITCN Asia, Pakistan’s largest IT exhibition, is set to take place in Karachi from September 23 to 25, 2025. Organized by E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan in collaboration with the Ministry of IT & Telecom and the Sindh Information and Technology Department (SIFC), this three-day event promises to be a landmark occasion for the country’s burgeoning digital economy.

The exhibition will be officially inaugurated by the Federal Minister for IT & Telecom, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja. ITCN Asia aims to showcase Pakistan’s growing IT industry, promote investment, and strengthen global partnerships in the technology sector.

Muhammad Umair Nizam, Group Director of E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan, highlighted the importance of the IT sector for the country’s economic transformation. “Pakistan’s IT sector is not just an industry but an engine of economic growth,” he said. According to Nizam, the sector is rapidly increasing exports, attracting billions in investments, and creating significant employment opportunities for the youth.

The event aligns with the national initiative ‘Tech Destination Pakistan’, designed to boost technological advancement and attract investment in the IT ecosystem.

ITCN Asia 2025 is expected to attract over 50,000 participants, including technology leaders, startups, investors, policymakers, and diplomats. More than 700 exhibitors and 100 foreign delegates from over 25 countries will showcase the latest innovations in AI, cybersecurity, 5G technologies, and more.

With strong support from the Sindh Information and Technology Department, the event is set to enhance collaboration and development within Pakistan’s national tech ecosystem, positioning the country as a growing hub for technology and innovation.
