DG ISPR: No ‘either-or’ in Pakistan’s relationship with other countries
Pakistan's military leader states the nation maintains strong, independent ties with the US and other countries like China.
Pakistan – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – The head of Pakistan’s military media wing, DG ISPR, has confirmed the country’s strong and long-running friendship with the United States.
He clearly stated that Pakistan does not have to choose sides between different nations. He shared these thoughts in a recent talk with a news outlet from Germany.
When asked if the Army Chief’s US trips improved ties, the general responded positively. He thanked the US for its help in stopping a short war between India and Pakistan last May.
He mentioned that both countries have successfully built on their shared goals while handling their differences with care.
The DG ISPR stressed that Pakistan sees its bond with America as very significant. This relationship stands on its own and is not affected by Pakistan’s close and strategic partnerships with China and others.
