
Govt Announces Trip to Turkey for THESE Students!

ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan has announced an official student visit to Türkiye for the toppers of Matric exams from all boards, according to a circular issued by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC).
The initiative, undertaken by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training in coordination with the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, will allow students from Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) across the country to travel to Türkiye on official passports.
Key Requirements for Students
As per the advisory, students must fulfill specific conditions before departure:
- A medical certificate from a government hospital confirming fitness for travel.
- Written consent from parents or guardians allowing participation.
- Each student must arrange two white shalwar kameez suits with shoes, while the ministry will provide a green blazer.
- Students may carry only one shoulder bag, while laptops and cameras are prohibited.
- Contact information of parents or guardians must be submitted in advance.
The IBCC has also directed that the expenses for pick and drop services will be borne by the respective boards.
Deadline for Documentation
All BISEs have been instructed to submit passports and required documents of selected students to the IBCC Secretariat in Islamabad by September 19, 2025, for onward transmission to the concerned authorities.
Supervision and Coordination
Chairpersons of all BISEs have been tasked with ensuring smooth implementation of the program and guiding students through the required process.
