Don’t Ask Devilish Questions” – Aleema Khan Snaps at Journalist

Concluding the interaction, Aleema said, “Please don’t ask devilish questions. Honestly, we are not in the mood to talk to the media.”

Rawalpindi: Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, expressed strong displeasure at a journalist’s question during a media interaction outside Adiala Jail. The incident unfolded when a reporter asked whether her views differed from the party’s official stance on elections.

Aleema responded sharply, saying, “That’s a very strange question. No one is able to meet Imran Khan. If he sends a message through his family, that’s his stance — not just the family’s. Why did you say it’s the family’s opinion?”

She further accused the journalist of intentionally provoking her, saying, “These kinds of things you people do — this is mischief. If we are speaking to you, at least show some respect. What you said was deliberately misleading. It felt like mischief — it hurt me.”

She added that the journalist had been covering them for two years and should show some consideration, especially as their family is under immense pressure. “Our children and brothers are in jail. We’re facing legal cases. At least show some empathy,” she said.
