DPM Dar reaffirms solidarity with Palestinian people
Dar acknowledged Turkey’s leadership role within the organisation.
ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar reiterated on Tuesday Pakistan’s firm and unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people, emphasising unity within the Muslim ummah amid the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
According to details, Dar held separate meetings with the Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Algeria and Turkiye on the sidelines of the 21st Extraordinary Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers.
The foreign minister exchanged detailed views on the grave situation in Palestine, the escalating humanitarian crisis, widespread famine, and the urgent need for humanitarian assistance.
In his capacity as Chair of the 51st session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers, Dar acknowledged Turkey’s leadership role within the organisation.
He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening ties with Egypt and Algeria, particularly in North Africa, and expressed resolve to enhance cooperation across multiple sectors.

Speaking on the occasion, Dar said that Pakistan remained keen to deepen its fraternal relations and multilateral cooperation with Turkey, Egypt and Algeria.
