1.3 million dollars likely to be received from IMF, says Finance czar Aurangzaib
He said that international financial institutions have also appreciated the tariff reforms
ISLAMABAD-(Mudassar Iqbal)- Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said that there are chances of getting $1.3 million from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said while talking that work is underway on the reform agenda. And the reforms will increase export capacity. Tariff reforms are included in the priority agenda of the government.
He said that international financial institutions have also appreciated the tariff reforms. They are going to form a Capital Markets Development Council. While the State Bank and other institutions will be partners of the council.

Muhammad Aurangzeb said that there is a need to increase funding capacity. There are problems of population, growth and climate change. And girls are out of school. World Bank funding has come on this issue.
He said that a team of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is coming to Pakistan in September. And currently we are in the 37th program. While $1.3 million will be received from the IMF. The conditions of the World Bank will also have to be seen.
