WBPF Highlights Integrity and Transparency in Pakistan Bodybuilding

Islamabad: Datuk Paul Chua, President of the World Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Federation (WBPF) and Asian Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Federation (ABBF), has lauded the efforts of Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah and Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Director General Muhammad Yasir Pirzada in eliminating unauthorized bodybuilding organizations and enabling the successful elections of the Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation (PBBF).

In an official letter, Datuk Paul Chua highlighted his recent discussions with Mr. Sohail Anwar, Secretary General of PBBF, in Singapore, focusing on the promotion and development of bodybuilding in Pakistan. He affirmed WBPF’s full support for the affiliation of all provincial, governmental, semi-governmental bodies, associations, institutions, and technical committees aligned with the duly recognized PBBF under the leadership of President Tariq Hassan.

The letter emphasized the positive impact of this move on athletes and officials, many of whom were previously misled by unrecognized or unauthorized bodies. Datuk Paul Chua stressed that all affiliated entities must adhere to PBBF’s rules and regulations, which now symbolize integrity, transparency, and athlete welfare.
