Ishaq Dar Discusses Regional Peace and India’s Actions with Greek FM
DPM Ishaq Dar Holds Telephonic Conversation with Greek Foreign Minister Georgeios Gerapetritis
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Greek Foreign Minister Georgeios Gerapetritis, during which he informed him about India’s baseless allegations against Pakistan and its unilateral illegal actions.
Ishaq Dar stated that India’s disinformation campaign and one-sided measures pose a threat to regional peace and security. He emphasized that Pakistan rejects India’s unfounded accusations and unilateral illegal actions.
He also condemned India’s unilateral suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, calling it a violation of international law. Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and security, stressing that Pakistan will safeguard its sovereignty and national interests at all costs.
In the conversation, Greek Foreign Minister Georgeios Gerapetritis welcomed Pakistan’s proposal for a neutral and transparent investigation into the Pahalgam attack and emphasized the importance of restraint and maintaining peace and security in the region.
Both ministers also agreed to maintain ongoing communication as non-permanent members of the UN Security Council.
