Iranian Ambassador Marks International Quds Day, Stresses Solidarity with Palestine
Ambassador Praises Pakistan’s Support for Palestine, Calls for Unity
ISLAMABAD: The Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, while addressing the gathering on International Quds Day, expressed unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression. The Ambassador highlighted the significance of this day, which was established by Imam Khomeini (RA) to express solidarity with Palestine.
The Ambassador pointed out the stark contrast between the continued genocide and aggression by the Israeli regime, backed by Western powers and the United States, and the steadfast resistance shown by Hamas. He emphasized the shifting dynamics, noting that Israel, which once sought to eliminate Hamas, now finds itself compelled to engage in direct negotiations with the group.
In his speech, the Ambassador expressed pride in the Islamic Republic of Iran’s strong stance in supporting the Palestinian people, particularly the people of Gaza, and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to the complete liberation of Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
