Starship: Musk’s Key Rocket for Mars Colonization

Washington: Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX, has announced that the Starship rocket will be launched to Mars by the end of 2026. The mission will also include Tesla’s humanoid robot, Optimus, as part of the plan. If successful, human landings on Mars could begin as early as 2029, with 2031 being a more likely target.

In his statement, Musk emphasized that the Optimus robot will not only assist with household chores but will also provide companionship. The robots are expected to be priced between $20,000 and $30,000.

Starship, which is the largest and most powerful rocket in the world, is a crucial component of Musk’s dream of colonizing Mars. Standing at 403 feet tall, Starship is almost 100 feet taller than the Statue of Liberty and is designed to be fully reusable in the future.
