Atta Tarar Claims £190 Million Scandal is Pakistan’s Largest Heist

Atta Tarar Praises PM Shahbaz for Saving Economy, Criticizes Opposition's Disrespect to Martyrs

Islamabad – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Atta Tarar, has stated that the £190 million scandal is the largest heist in Pakistan’s history. He reaffirmed his previous statements regarding the involvement of PTI’s founder in corruption, claiming that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has given full attention to improving the economy, which is on track to become one of the best in the world.

Speaking to party workers in his constituency, Atta Tarar attributed the party’s loyalty to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, emphasizing the improvement in the country’s economy under the leadership of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. He noted a reduction in interest rates and highlighted Pakistan’s progress toward economic development.

He further remarked that a dark shadow had loomed over the country, referring to former leaders like Imran Khan, who he accused of looting the nation. Tarar criticized the PTI leadership, citing media headlines about their actions and their claims about not defending corruption. He also condemned the misappropriation of public property, specifically the “Toshakhana scandal,” accusing PTI leaders of stealing expensive watches and selling gifts intended for state purposes.

Tarar also lashed out at the opposition for claiming transparency while failing to carry out infrastructure development. He reiterated that the country’s progress has occurred under the leadership of the PML-N, and that international forums are being used to present Pakistan’s case.

He emphasized that the previous government failed to deliver, instead focusing on financial gains and personal deals. He assured the people that under the current leadership, issues such as road construction, clean water, and gas supply would be resolved. Tarar also promised that the area would soon become an ideal model for development.
